About
Kamara has developed as an artist over the last 10 years. She has worked in multi-media with watercolors, pastels, and acrylics. During the pandemic, she read extensively, focusing on non-fiction, poetry, and high fantasy. It was through the integration of her love of history and art that her passion for clothing design and historical recreation originated.
She is a costume designer and an avid student of history who specializes in late Medieval, Baroque, and Renaissance clothing reconstructions. Her unparalleled attention to detail, handcraft, and meticulous adherence to materials and methods used in the periods result in pieces shimmering with style, precision, and authenticity.
Kamara is currently a student at George Washington University in Washington, DC, studying History and political communications.
